Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary

The Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary holds a special memory for Don Renard, the founder of Renco Machine. As a child, he spent many afternoons fishing in the sanctuary lagoons. Don wanted to share this experience with others. In 2006, he worked with the Sanctuary to dredge and clean the lagoon. Each year he stocked the lagoon with about 5,000 trout that range in size from 12 to 18”. Rick and Jean Renard of Renco Machine Co. continue this tradition today. In addition, Renco has provided equipment and manpower to the sanctuary for several projects over the years.
